Typical advantage is getting rid of the baggage with prior ticker as more often than not they have a bad history.

Other than that you may see initial spike on all shares with brokerages needing to be settled but other than that there is no real advantage from a shareholder perspective.

I mean look at PAOG, hasn't helped them long term
