Interesting...thanks for the information...Several reasons you do save the dollar..you have been groomed to do so...it is what you are accustomed to doing...it is safe...Personally as a contrarian I consistently invest those dollars and make them work for me...I hold very little cash...just enough to be comfortable with my liquidity...
