louismsg: I sold all my AAPL also - twice - both times due to concern about the options backdating exposure. Both times I bought back, missing a little but not much of the upward movement.
I am still concerned about the options backdating issue. I am not sure how I will proceed. Gotta a bunch of cash left but did buy a little AAPL a while back and loaded up this morning. Not sure how long I will hold those load up shares.
I hear you Louis, I too adore my Macs but must confess I've lost on every play I've made on aapl. It took me tens of thousands of dollars to realise that my timing and perceptions sucked and that my Mother's advice to stick a little every month in the Walgreens of the world would greatly benefit me in the long run
