I believe you're thinking of CDNL from last year. Suspended for not filing financials on 6/1, then filed a form 15 on 6/21.
Revoked on 8/3

I vaguely recall that there was a different stock that not so long ago tried filing a Form 15 AFTER it'd been suspended and an admin proceeding to revoke registration had been announced.

That was too little, too late. The SEC revoked anyway.
