Hmmm.. I've used both of those browsers on different machines today without any problem. Maybe you have one of them storing your login information? And somehow that information has been corrupted or changed in Chrome??
As an aside, I think it's a bad idea to allow browsers to store login data. Maybe I'm paranoid?
