As usual , you can't read a balance sheet. Syncora has no revenue, because it will soon be just a pile of cash. The real problem is the lack of upside. They will earn more with higher interest rates, but the end of the bull market helps them! They have sold American roads, and spent 360 million so Ago is responsible for 90% of their old book.
They will liquidate most of the company for 5 , and you will really get to complain about how much Esposito will be rewarded. You might even be right , that had they played their cards differently we should have got 7 or more.
If there is really an end to the bull market (especially high yield bonds-"junk") , you want to be in cash. Maybe Ambac will need to be rescued at a 60% discount to current price. You are right , the bull market is ending I think.
