Thanks for your post I always enjoyed your fervent support of Capstone. I noticed that you have been a little more critical recently, or at least, more questioning of the company.
I believe that the recent stock drop was not just a random event. I will go out on a limb a say that 2018 LED legacy revenues will struggle to reach $30 million.
This begs the question: Is the new product category an attempt to mitigate the slowing LED sales or a genuine path to increased sales and profits? Why all of a sudden is there talk about R&D? How heavy will that expense be? Anyone else bothered that just one person participated on the call.
Will the new product category sell? More to the point, how can we be assured that it hits the market by Q 1 2019? I'm still haunted by assuming that CPC Bulb and Vanity Lights would be our ticket to salvation. Funny, but they don't mention those anymore.
IMO, Your post points to a communication and credibility gap that investors have taken note of. Hopefully they have truly taken note and are planning real change.
