Answer: because
Isn't that always the best answer to anything? Because.

Why pivot into a business combination that is in the SEC's crosshairs?

Actually.... because if they do it right and by the book then they have an opportunity to start and build something really huge and more successful than anything they've ever done. That's fantastic and admirable ambition.

The past doesn't matter as long as they get it done.

The present almost doesn't matter -- Yeah, a LOT of us are quite pissed off at Silent Johnnyboy here in the present but that silence can be forgiven if they are able to announce debt eliminated and have a great launch.

Why pivot? Because a couple of successful entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas, a track record (Angel), contacts, ability and drive called him up wanting to play ball.
John had the shell and experience to tie in a public facet to the PlurusX plan. John is riding coat tails here with PlurusX's tech, but PlutusX is riding coat tails on the public side. Not a bad match up. John will show his cards at some point and this will flat out run.
In the meanwhile we at least can watch and see how PlutusX does moves forward. Not a bad indicator to watch. Even if it's still months out. Tic F'ing Toc, but it's more than shareholders had to watch the two years while completely dark.
My money ain't moving. Straight up ride or die with my capital on this one. No emotion until PT's are satisfied. Can always make more money. It's a long life, God willing. ADTM
