Ksuave, have you ever considered that the big oil companies are in tight with the other Middle East countries that don't particularly like Israel? Going prospecting for oil in their enemies country to aid their enemy ain't too good for their business. Maybe that's why the "big oil companies" haven't done it. Also that's most likely why the oil field equipment is so scarce in Israel, they most likely don't borrow much from the neighbors.
