Don't know how the joint venture will be split up. Or it may not be a formal joint venture just three companies coming together to make an offer with the total of the individual offers adding up to the winning bid.

It is a function of how much cash and proportion amount of the debt they each will take. Could be 1/3-1/3-1/3, or 1/2-1/4-1/4. Probably won't know the split until the offer/sale is made public.

Or Africa Oil wants property "A" & "C", Lundin Oil wants "B" & "E", with the 3rd company taking the rest.

At this point there is no way to figure it out.



My original posted include the phrase "Three consortia, in which Africa Oil is a part of one". Quite frankly I an not sure if Lundin Oil ( actually Lundin Petroleum) is one of the companies in the consortia with Africa Oil, just my hunch.
