YOU re-read the article. There is nothing in there that says Ember is making any money from this product. In fact, as I recall, Ember announced a few months ago that they had to raise another $12 million in financing just to stay in business.

Now, if Ember was making sooooooooo much money from all of their products, why would they need to get another $12 million?

As I said before, both Ember AND Airbee Wireless have a lot of potential once ZigBee products are mass produced. Until then, they're both in the same boat. They are both pure ZigBee plays.
