Gracious, I-Glow, I'm reading recent messages that take me back quite a number of years when market making firms actually could trade for their own accounts. Not true any longer. Then the naked shorting issue. Also a myth. Then the market making firms conducting coded trades. Another myth. The short interest myth. The settlement cycle which was recently shortened by a day. Everything's electronic now.

It all adds up to the myth of the market maker conspiracy to manipulate price movement.

Quite entertaining.
