Agree they are downsizing and cutting overhead in anticipation of partnership/sale. Dilution no surprise how else could they fund to reach this inflection point. Given their ages and time invested a buy out would also make sense. Its a unique situation as new investors are getting the stock at such a discount compared to long term holders.
