Exactly, that was a starting point. I don't care what they say, it would not be competitive even for apparel. They have put a good bit of money into start up costs, and you would think they would vet an idea before doing that. I expect serious news from our camp, to depress them further eventually.

Thank you for putting an accurate number of 1% on the high MW proteins. Energy costs to spin up every ounce of goo, is another reason they aren't going to shoot for strong fibers. There are daunting thresholds to overcome, and you mentioned other difficulties. I just don't see how it can be done, but it is just VC money.
