Yes because they said 80%+ of users see 1 movie a day!!! That's a $300 loss per customer...multiply that by 1.6 million = $480 million potential cash burn per month!!!! Yikes!
This has all of the elements of a Ponzi scheme...I was long here from $2.5 to $12 the first run and flipped it a few times on the way down. I was here for the "crime mapping app" way before movie pass
But I always said below $5 this is a death spiral. They can't sell enough shares or make enough revenue to pay the light bill after a certain point. :-(
Reverse split is imminent imho ~ they will do a 10-20/1 split and do major PR again to sell more shares. :-(
This model at $10 will never be profitable unless they actually owned the theaters. :-(
Their current business model is nothing more than trading $10 for $300...terrible model and will never be sustainable. Users data is not worth $290 that's left of and that's just the way it is.
