#345 RE: southacresdave #344

With POLA being so thinly traded, the 30K shares the shorters sold amounts to a fairly large percentage of all shares sold over that period.

And an extra 30K shares for sale helps to explain why POLA's upward rise stalled -- especially when we see market sells very close to the end of the day, etc.

Maybe the shorts are correct -- their decisions are often based on better information than the rest of us have. However, I'm going to keep holding until I see evidence that the growth story isn't happening. If POLA's numbers show weakening sales, then I guess I'll be happy to sell at $4, helping the shorters to cover at a profit. But if the growth story continues, then I think these shorts will not enjoy having to buy back these 170K shares in such a thinly-traded stock. I'll sell them my shares, but they'll need to pay me a whole lot more.

So, we wait to see what POLA's numbers are... Pretty darn exciting/nerve-wracking. I own a ton of shares... I don't need to see huge profits this quarter. I just want to see evidence that the growth story continues to be believable.
