we've spent weeks here discussing how MMs make a market, how it can border on manipulation, etc.
retail can do this, too.
but there are so many variables, and it's so complex, chatting about what might be happening isn't very meaningful.
several days ago i noticed we didn't get an extended rally from the solid PR about restructuring. it looked to me like we were being shorted.
i think it's possible we'll see a small RS with the restructuring. that would give MMs a good reason to be naked shorting, which is totally legal for them to do.
but not everyone agrees with my theory. and maybe i'm the one being fooled by the manipulation. maybe we'll get news of a restructuring without a split, and up the stock will go, so quickly that those who were cautious can't get any cheap shares.
MMs are often short in news vacuums, and they short hardest before a huge run. it's usually easiest to shake people out at those inflection points on a chart.
