Trump left European support for the Iran deal out of his speech. He said all were in agreement that Iran should not get a nuclear weapon and left it at that. The omission of that European support for the deal represented a massive misrepresentation by the president, and could well have angered European leaders. Then again Trump's disingenuousness would not have been a surprise.
Undoubtedly Trump has strengthened the position of Russia (though publicly they have been against withdrawal) and Iran in the ME. And of the most conservative mullahs in Iran. All at the expense of the Iranian people Trump claimed to support.
