#137315 RE: RealUSA #137259

so if we get this magical .05 quarterly dividend, why won't Garrett convert and capture an almost 100% yield on his investment. also if Garrett converts, for example now it would be another 18 million shares and the dividend would have to cover that. so whatever div has to factor in total share count that siaf can pay.

why I'm saying this process is mismanaged.

.05 might work at 20m shares but not at 50m ir more.

Garrett has stated he expects to settle half in cash and half in stock with a realistic share count of 1-3 million shares (even less if the stock price is higher by then due to loan news, cash dividends, etc.)

He is heavily invested in the stock (he's purchased millions with his own money in the open market at significantly higher cost basis and given the company a recent $4 million loan in cash) and only wishes to help them out financially because it will benefit him as well in the long run. In my opinion he is the reason we are even talking about a cash dividend in the first place. Solomon kept talking about share buy backs previously because he's pissed at the share price as well and wants to get back at those he believe have been manipulating and shorting the stock. (obviously dilution, poor financing decisions, missed timeline expectations etc. have contributed to the share price decline as well). He wants as much as shareholders to finish closing the $100M Tri-way loan to move forward in a positive direction and get the share price closer to book value finally.
