I can care less if you interested in Mantra, the point of the post is to point out that the fuel cell technology is constantly evolving.

Compare it to the mobile phones transformation over the last few decades. Many of the early giants in the industry died off while new players emerged and took over the market.

As time progressed phones got smaller, more powerful, and more multi functional.

The same will occur in the fuel cell industry.

Formic acid fuel cells will be smaller, cheaper, lighter and carry a malfunction of being used for hydrogen storage and as a safe hydrogen transporter vehicle.

The added benefit of using formic acid is that the infrastructure is already in place. Current gas station filing stations can easily be converted to distribute the hydrogen rich formic acid.

So no I wasn't advertising Mantra, only two of the 8 articles cited mention Mantra, I am just pointing out the next generation of fuel cells and why they will be made from Formic acid.

And who knows PLUG's fuel cell might change too.
