Yes they could. A multimillion barrel oil find sounds like a lot of oil. But is it really? Israel uses around a quarter of a million barrels a day (250,000). Try multiplying that by 365 days a year, and you would see they use nearly 100,000,000 barrels a year. So a 700,000,000 barrel of oil find would make them energy independent for the next 7 years. That would not be much of a blessing. Zion Oil is not an oil producing company and probably never will be. We are an oil exploration company so when you see on this website posts about bringing in other companies to do the drilling while we move on to explore another site, I see that as being necessary to really bring the oil to Israel. Remember we have 99,000 other places to explore in Israel and that may be what God has called us to do. If you read the beginning of this website under "General" you will see that both Exxon and Shell Oil have agreed that there are upwards of 220,000,000,000 barrels to be discovered in the land. Where God is involved think big!
