mr40 -- yep, seems clear their nuke test site has reached the end of its utility -- one thing about North Korea, obviously, is that it isn't very large, and even as underdeveloped as it is (apart from its military) it may not have much in the way of other (semi-)safe/appropriate nuke test sites (at least not without selecting a new site and doing the potential year or more of preparatory work to get the site ready for test detonations) -- though there has of course been concern/speculation the North could resort to testing its nukes by deploying them on missiles launched into the Pacific
