So they are basically working with stocks they feel are overvalued for the initial sale, and then hope the price drops so they purchase the shares they reimburse at a lower price?!? Is that basically the gist?!?

So what's the upside to someone lending the stock?!? Who wants to lend a car to a friend only to get it back with two wheels if you catch my drift?!?
