This project has potential but imo the wrong people are trying to get this project off the ground. Like i said in the past, the dubai boys are amateurs in this market.
Look at Statkraft and their devoll hydroplant. Now there are some professionals doing some good work. They get things done, they say they are going to build the project and they are doing it, on schedule. The first plant is done, the second is on schedule. The prime minister is even quoting a Statkraft offical. The Albanian energy minister Damian Gjiknuri is even inspecting the construction site in moglice. Statkraft is how a company should act. Professional. No hush hush, no going dark. It's all in the open. Doing what they are saying they are going to do.
I always keep thinking why the dubai boys can't do what statkraft is doing. It's the same country with the same political progress, the same rules and regulations. Statkraft can do it but the dubai boys can't? They supposed to be billionaires with a lot of know how in business but can't get a simple project off the ground. They didn't even bother to buy or start other projects in anticipation of the shala project. imo after 7 years or so, they don't have enough (financial, political) power in albania to get the project started. Because if they did, this would've been build by now. imo
