I assume the patents were in a grey area. Maybe they knew it was uncertain. Maybe their IP attorneys screwed up. Maybe they never consulted attorneys so mgmt screwed up. We don’t know.

I'm saying exactly the opposite: i.e. that no management team could have been expected to anticipate the changed patent landscape resulting from the surprising MYGN ruling.
