If B was a complex molecule and IPIX was doing the manufacturing (a very few biotechs do), there would be concerns and stipulations. But neither is true. Thus it's not an impediment to a partnership. It is not a milestone either, because IPIX has to get more B made to continue clinical development, learner or not, just like they got more made 3 years ago. This announcement is nice to hear; it does not herald or pave the way for a partnership. Trial results and FDA designations do that. Keep your ears open for any word on the FDA meeting for B-OM mentioned a month ago.
