I'd also like-to-know about this case,if it exists i.e. some guy "crooked" out of WHAT exactly? Implication is some sort of fake merchandise was delivered, but we have to try to figure this out and best not to try to guess:

Did you ever follow up with the reply to get the alleged victim's phone # and info? I'm sure if there are any P.O.'s or any evidence at all an atty. could take it on but they need some evidence and so do we.
Right now there is product and sales being made, whether Cortez will deliver on which promises remains to be seen, will there be a harvest this fall and is it still a priority or will they source the spa products elsewhere -- I think Alex-- a few posts B4 this put well what I also think: that cbd sales are a stronger prospect than growing mj, "and legal based on the content percentage. It works for many patients as alternative pain therapy, so my feeling is this company may have had questionable business practices in the past but was able to materialize an actual business at the right time."
I've said before Cortez has stumbled and there is photo evidence as well of promises not kept whether by intent or circumstance and even LOOKS shady as f-c# but has learned from mistakes and is nothing if not tenacious -- finally timing and circumstances coming together.
MHO: this is looking stronger every day as a bottom bouncer.
