A theoretically knowledgeable ex-employee has been making a false claim for a long time, most recently here #63708 and here #63768. Pointing this "mistake" out has nothing to do with any other argument. Misinformation should be identified and corrected. Black and white. Those claims were wrong. Pointing that out does not cloud anything.
You want to promote QMC's synthesis? Feel free, that's a different subject. You want to compare feedstock costs? Have at it. Do you want to make an argument that 2 Ph.D.'s are better than 65 or that a couple few purchased patents are better than 600 patents? Go right ahead. Change the subject if you'd like, but don't combine them, they are all different points.
