A company CAN "stay in business" AND remain public for 7+ years without making money. It's completely plausible. VPER has done just that as have many other pennies.
VPER has no lenders. The company is financed by selling stock.
As far as market cap vs revenue goes, this company has been in business and making money according to some people and their revenue for 2017 was less than $56,000. That's great according to these people because the market cap is the same as the revenue? That isn't business 101. More like business .0001.
