#51598 RE: iPickle #51596

Yes, I did some reading over the weekend, this is a long overdue step IMO, hopefully this will help with some of the abuse that's been happening and leash these MM's a little. Their true role is to make a market by gauging buying and selling interest, not influencing company value the way they have been. The companies decide to do business with these crooks and sometimes they are in bed together, but to have to repay funding at a conversion rate of 40% of the LOWEST PPS over 30 or 60 days is obscene. If one of their customers is a dilutive financer, of COURSE the MM's are going to take the price down. And not only that, until now these MM's could dump these dilutive shares all at once if they chose to, destroying companies AND shareholders in the process. MM's have no business determining market value, that's not their role and it distorts the whole meaning of a free market.

That being said, the MM's still have other tricks up their sleeve and I'm pretty sure we are starting to see them now and will in the near future.

Sorry for ranting but you asked.
