Yet when in comes to investigating Russian attempts to infiltrate conservative circles,
the Trump organization and the Trump campaign the use of informants is condemned.

The attack on the FBI has widened. The strategy to reinforce public mistrust of government
institutions has deepened. The smearing of Mueller's credibility has reached a nastier new low.
