Why would someone unsolicited send a mail in the first place. Because they wanted the update the prior communication that was not accurate.

I send clients emails from other emails when I am out of the office all the time. However I do have exchange mail and could send using my corporate.

It was known a little while ago that Chesapeake was to be the contact for investor relations questions or concerns. I know because I have gotten email responses from Mr. Rieu myself for what it's worth. I also know who posted that screenshot and if they say it's legit, it is.
