That shows us just how much states depend on Big Tobacco money/cigarette taxes to balance their general fund budgets.

Washington’s poor performance is not an anomaly. Forty-one states and the District of Columbia earned an F grade from the American Lung Association’s 2018 report on spending for tobacco prevention and cessation.



No way big tobacco does not get to sell their “heat not burn products” to the US market. The only question is whether or not the FDA will allow them to sell whatever they want in terms of their nicotine content going forward. Let's hope not!
