Trevor, thanks for that post about the Bayer patents.
Sounds like Squires and Doderer knew what they were doing.
Just compared to what Samsung spent licensing from Nanosys ($15M?) and purchasing QD Vision ($70M?), what QMC spent on broad, fundamental synthesis and process patents was just pennies. This was a willing buyer with foresight and a willing seller cashing out of a business they were no longer interested in growing. A fair deal for all.

If Squires had come out before the purchase and told the shareholders, "we're going to buy some great patents from Bayer" would it have happened? Or wouid competitors tried to get in the way or at least raised the cost of the purchase?

When Squires told you "not to confuse lack of communication with lack of activity" back in the October Shareholder letter, did you get it? Or are you totally binary? What's your IQ? ROFL
