Not really. Brokers just process orders. So all those cows are still for sale, they just get routed through a different broker.

suppose I'm selling a few cows, but someone else is selling a lot of cows much cheaper than I want to sell my few for. And then one day, the guy selling all the cows cheap is shut down and not allowed to sell them anymore. Well, my cows just became worth more.
