Only need to enrol 1 person and dose that person for PR of first patient dosed. You can bet that patients were probably known as soon as this opened for recruitment.
People want to live, but more importantly, they want to keep anyone else from going through what they are experiencing. My daughter recruits patients at UPenn. You would be amazed at how fast people with terminal cancer will volunteer. They do not look at share prices when they enroll. The science is what matters to them.
