Your Welcome - there are 101 ev charging ports for the general public within 30 miles of Pittsburgh - non solar - The mayor is getting ready for a public announcement about the arcs - he is liking the driving on sunshine platform - he supports “green “ - more importantly for our city and others - is the emergency readiness of these solar arcs - I emphasized in my call today that 5 additional arcs for a total of 10 would make pittsburgh a front runner for “solar” ev chargers . The push of course is hard wired ( grid) charging stations vs solar - I have to do research to determine if hard wired grid chargers have battery storage -

Heard KDKA radio doing a spot on the 2nd ave arcs.
For first time they announced the new arcs will eventually be offered to the public . This location on 2nd ave is located right off the 376 parkway . Really busy city beltway - perfect location -
Mayor had good idea with this project - Free and reliable power 24/7 for 10 cars - at 250 miles per charge - city use was easy 1 tank gas per car per week - at $50 per tank would be $500 a week in saved fuel . Bottom line 24,000 in saved fuel cost annually - these arcs can be paid off in 3 years - wow
