Guided Therapeutics, Inc. (OTCQB: GTHP) reported today record sales for a quarter in Indonesia, with eight LuViva® Advanced Cervical Scans shipped in the fourth quarter of last year. In addition, Indonesia ordered 4,500 single-use Cervical Guides which were shipped along with the LuViva devices. The increase in orders of high-margin Cervical Guides indicates that installed LuViva units are beginning to see greater usage in hospitals and clinics. Based on previous studies and evaluations of LuViva, medical researchers in Indonesia are recommending the LuViva test as an alternative to the Pap test for cervical cancer screening.
