You did LOOK AT the 8-k, I assume. The Items under which it was filed aren't the ones you listed.

The company is responsible for the content of the PR without the 8-K filing.

This 8-K serves only one purpose and that is to supplement the distribution of the PR itself. Some research software tracks 8-Ks...it's that simple.
