I only say it's due to him being a scientist because I've encountered a number of private and public companies run by scientists...and the one thing they all have in common is poor execution and severe lack of understanding when it comes to understanding all dynamics in play that go into unleashing and propelling companies through growth phases.
Heck I'm still dealing with a 73 year old scientist CEO who has an amazing cyber security platform basically making hacking obsolete...but for 4 years running now he hasn't been able to unlock a single shred of value because he thinks someone's just gonna come along and write him a check for over +$100M instead of creating revenue generating value 1st.
So although I agree with much of what you say...Dr. Odidi has definitely proven through his own actions over the past 4 years that he simply can't make timely adaptions and continues operating IPCI like his timeline to execution is a non-factor...when we both know that time has definitely caught up to him and IPCI over these past 4 years and he's proven completely incapable of making adjustments necessary let alone even understanding the market dynamics constantly in play sigh
