JD the conspiracy theorist in me see's these moves by trump as part of a larger organized plan. First he passes the largest corporate tax plan in history with onetime forgiveness built in right before he causes the largest "trimming" of market loss through tweets about an escalating trade war. Both were long overdue but how nice it is for all those tens of trillions of dollars sitting in offshore accounts to have a nice "firesale" on futures right before a M&A mega mania.
