no! you cannot retail short the OTC- not profitably, anyway. shorting at the retail level is a fallacy. yes you may be able to borrow some shares through IB (at a massive per share fee), or try your hand at selling naked, but frankly that is 100% stupid.
anyone shorting for profit is short on the big boards. that is easy, cheap, liquid, on margin, and I do it every day.
