NAND: Research firm IDC forecasts bit growth to slow in in 2007@BOFA IDC forecasts NAND bit growth will slow from approximately 200% Y-o-Y growth in 2006 to 131% in 2007, which Banc of America feels supports their concerns about 2007 semi capex. The broker estimates NAND spending will cause cap-ex to decline 10% in 2007 and notes that front-end semiconductor makers AMAT, KLAC, LRCX, NVLS and VSEA, as well as test companies VRGY and ATE, have the highest exposure to the NAND market.
