Since USGlobal was dealing with Frank Visconti (who owns Xtra and Songbird), they are certainly on his radar as far as him trying to salvage something from his crappy companys. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they are talking. My guess as to why Songbird (Visconti) pulled the plug was it was too risky to put the amount of money in Songbird necessary to get it back up and running again to meet the conditions of sale. Now Xtra might be up for sale and it would be turnkey as Xtra is an operational airline. Don't know if USGlobal has the bucks though. There will probably be other bidders with deeper pockets. Of course this is all speculation as its in the rumor stage.
