Joe, you are talking about the unaudited balance sheets. I am talking about the book value of the Assets at the start of Bankruptcy. You should understand that the losses of LHBI will be based on the book value of the assets and not in the unaudited 2012 balance sheet.
...Your in error. Liabilities are not Debt. Lehman was short operating funds that's all ..that's what happened. A Debt is generated when you fail to make payments on the liability. This is why the insiders went to fire sale mode to Liquidate Lehman Bros. That's all that it did. So if this BK drags on Lehman Bros has a High probability of paying off the senior secured positions. Why Amortization. Let see if they're that smart?? IMO
