i agree on your 5% subset, there are varying degrees of "scam" and often times it's in the form of a real company with well-intentioned management, but they are cash-strapped in the early stages, so they get hooked up with lenders that crush the equity.

all too often this same scenario happens with big board issues.

but the hunt for that diamond in the rough continues. i enjoy the search, and learn something new with each ticker.
