If this were an isolated circumstance, the yes, it would make sense. But coming right on the heels of an extremely deceptive Twitter campaign, it very much looks like another fraudulent attempt to manipulate the market value of the company.

He would need to hire a third party and step back legally. He cannot take assets from shareholders and sell them to himself at a discount even if only perceived.... people go to jail for this, hell look at pharma bro for a recent high profile case.
