I wonder if it would have filled if we didn't load up on so many shares that day it dropped to roughly .121 I knew there were people sitting waiting to buy and thought it would have shot up and i could not have bought as many .12-.13's I kept hitting the ask every time it got close. The longer we kept that gap from filling the more shares filled in the .12-.14 range. If it did go to .11 one person might have picked up 500 shares and it would have been off to the races. instead it stayed at .12-13. Off the top of my head i think 20 million + shares were picked up around that range. A little less volume that gap would have filled last week. There were too many people waiting for it to fill before buying i think it broke the rule. Sometimes you need to adapt to minor differences. there are exceptions to every rule.

Maybe you can help a newbie understand gaps. Wouldn't someone have to sell shares at that price in order to get filled? If no one sell shares that cheap then the gap would never fill correct?

If that's correct then why do so many people talk about a gap like it controls the movement of a stock price?

Thanks for any help
