Cannabis should be REMOVED from scheduling altogether. Alcohol and tobacco are worse and not scheduled as you mentioned. A good portion of the controlled substance act is medically incorrect.

Money and corruption is why, and "we the people" need to advocate harder.

Dropping to schedule 2 would be a mistake. Needs to go sched 3,4,5 or totally off drug schedule.

Even most non users would agree sched 1 is insane. Even sched 3 is over reach by the government.

Alcohol and tobacco not on drug schedules - both addictive.

Absolutely, Could fall under a different agency for oversight - like ATF for alcohol and tobacco. I doubt the feds will not figure out some way to insure they get their taxes.

I don't use and I think it's nuts on any schedule.
