The Mets and Jets won in 1969 followed up by the Knicks in 1970.

When the Knicks won I was a senior in HS. Cable was in it's infancy and we rented a hotel room in Manhattan to watch the final game.

When the Mets won I got a lot of free tickets to go to games during the summer from my dad's boss.

I was such a fan he gave me two tickets to all the payoff and WS games.

I got Tom Seaver's autograph after the last game.
